Fun listen, but way too many ads
Otis is fun to listen to and overall the stories are generally good. The amount of ads is horrific. I understand the need to make money and don’t even bother skipping ads on most podcasts, but it takes over five and a half to six minutes to even get to Otis speaking and on average it’s close to eight minutes to start the first story. As if this isn’t a lot as it stands, the stories are cut into at awkward and unreasonable times to interject a random ad again. Before and after the stories I understand wanting to throw in ads, but mid-story is just brutal. If ad times were cut and the stories stopped being interrupted at random times this would easily be five stars. As it stands it’s barely three because it truly is that frustrating when listening to this show.

Just the right amount of scary. The narrator is awesome. If you’re looking for a really creepy one, try S1 E1, Danger in the Dark.

Jiry has a fantastic voice for horror podcasting. I always liked him on the nosleep podcast, and now here he is all on his lonesome! While he "ain't your grandpa", he's got a wonderfully grandpa-esque tone and manner, and the stories benefit from his telling. Recommended to fans...Read full review »
