Stop the Vocal Crack!!
Honestly, I love the content. It’s well-written and engaging. But the host speaks with a vocal crack that makes her sound a little like an adolescent. This is a podcast, folks! Clean up your diction!

I’m enjoying the content— being a person who enjoys learning the origin of words. But the host’s voice sets me on edge. Her habit of croaking the last 1 or 2 words of every sentence is really annoying and reduces the authority her voice might otherwise have.

This is really a terrific listen. It’s smart, well written, and informative. They handle complex subjects in a way that’s understandable to us regular folk. Check out their episode on the Spanish Flu, it’s fascinating.
