Science, interpreted and explained with practical applicability
This podcast offers so much more than ultra-running relevance. As an endurance triathlete, this has actually become one of my go-to podcasts due to the quality of the podcaster; Shawn presents with intelligence with a style that communicates quiet dignity and humility. The quality of the guests are exceptional and the content of material has both broad range and broad application across sports and, as sports are often metaphors of life, across life in general. Shawn takes care to rephrase and clarify scientific information so that it is understood by the ‘layman’ and then always seeks to clarify and communicate how that information is relevant to athletes. Love this channel.

Very insightful regards the science behind how the body functions and ways in which “WE” as runners can improve our performance. A lot of real practical suggestions to improve training with evidence to back it up. Really motivates for those long runs.

It's made...Read full review »
