“I’ve listened to the first five of this six part podcast. It’s an intense experience hearing Matt and James argue back and forth! But it’s also super useful thinking about things from at least two different perspectives. My favourite episode so far was the POV episode which Matth & James did with a guest author (Jonathan Auxier). Having a third party mellowed things out a bit and the discussion felt more nuanced. My favourite nuggets from the episodes so far have been about working like an actor and giving every line of dialogue an agenda, and about giving myself permission to say what a character is feeling, rather than just trying to show it by behaviour all the time!”
