On this episode of the Seeing Eye Dogs Show, we've got a handler story in recognition of International Guide Dog Day (IGDD) on April 24. This is part 2 of our IGDD special, you can find part 1 available as a podcast on your preferred podcast platform.
We couldn’t just do one story for International Guide Dog Day so we're joined by Damo McMorrow who is a Seeing Eye Dogs handler as well as National Access Technology Manager at Vision Australia. We’re going to be talking about his story as a handler and his experience transitioning to his new Seeing Eye Dog. We’re going to talk about his new partnership with Jenna as well as life with two Seeing Eye Dogs in the house. Damo also talks about the client training experience and gives some tips new dog guide handlers should listen to.

IGDD special 1: Paul talking dog guide mobility
On this episode of the Seeing Eye Dogs Show, we're talking dog guide mobility in recognition of International Guide Dog Day (IGDD) on April 24.
We're joined by Paul Adrian Seeing Eye Dogs Advisor Strategy and Change and qualified Guide Dog Mobility Instructor talking about dog guide mobility and the process for getting a Seeing Eye Dog. We bust some myths about who is eligible and might benefit from a Seeing Eye Dog, talk about the assessment and application process, and discuss matching the trained dog to the right handler on the waitlist.

IGDD Giving Day, Kennel Cough, & Recall
On this episode of the Seeing Eye Dogs Show, host Harriet is joined by three guests.

Vet tips- parasites, breeding program strategy
On this episode of the Seeing Eye Dogs Show on Vision Australia Radio, Harriet is joined by Dr Ashe Mooney of the Seeing Eye Dogs Vet Team to talk about a dog health problem more common in the cooler months- parasites. We discuss some of the common parasites, symptoms of a dog with a parasite and how to prevent.
