Description
Last show of the week, and Matt rehashes an old rant.  The Welcome Matt puts a bullseye on the back of the Vegas Golden Knights, who find themselves once again in a Stanley Cup semi-final. Matt is back on his ABV mantra, anyone But Vegas!  Shane Hnidy from the Golden Knights broadcast team joins next  and tells us how VGK were able to bring themselves back to the semi-final. Our Friday Canucks insider Rick Dhaliwal follows and says that Travis Green raved about Alex Edler on Donnie & Dhali today, gives praise to the Canucks shoring up their coaching staff earlier this week, updates on what’s happening with the Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes contracts, who will be running/coaching in Abbotsford, and whether or not Emil Pettersson is going to head to the NHL next season. The Price is Right takes a look at the top teams around the NHL and how those still standing, with the exception of Tampa, don’t have a truly “elite” player on the roster. Jeff Paterson follows Hashtags - the best and worst of Twitter, and explains how he respects what the Golden Knights have done in such a short span of time, why he feels Alex Edler will be back with the Canucks next year, and whether or not the Canucks should bring back Trent Cull to coach the AHL team in Abbotsford.  Andrew tries to get a sizzler on Hot Take. We wrap the show with all the Errors & Omissions. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
