“Some of the stories are great but Cross loves to mix in random bits of improv that he encourages his guests to join. It works to some extent but they always go too long and sounds like a rehearsal, a first draft that’s not ready for an audience.
He’s clearly having fun so the devoted David Cross fan might love it but I’ll tune in when there’s a particular guest I’m interested in.
At this early stage it also could use some editing because there’s a good five to ten minutes of “uh” and “um” coming from the host more than once in most sentences.”
