I never miss an episode of SG. The host and guests are always engaging and passionate about the books they discuss, which never fails to prove infectious. Listening to episodes about books I adore always feels like I’m sitting with kindred spirits, but more often than not it’s the episodes about books I haven’t read that I enjoy most. These often remind me to start reading the books I’ve been meaning to for years (I Capture the Castle), or leave me with a list of books to purchase on my next trip to the bookshop (Ella’s poetry episode). Not only has this podcast made me discover and rediscover so many wonderful books, in some cases it has helped me dismantle prejudices about ‘chick lit’ and pick up books I would have otherwise - to my detriment - dismissed. Thanks SG team!

One of the best podcasts around. Intelligent conversation on books that are normally dismissed as chick lit. Highlight of my commute is when a new episode drops in. Definitely recommend

This is just BRILLIANT. Thank you Caroline and Dolly for making this mini-series, articulating the significance of SATC for a generation for whom it defined the expectations of adulthood. Can’t wait for more!
