Leonard Lake and Charles Ng were notorious serial killers who operated in California during the mid-1980s. They were involved in the kidnapping, torture, and murder of multiple individuals, primarily women. Leonard Lake was the mastermind behind their crimes, while Charles Ng was his accomplice. Their crimes came to light in 1985 when Lake was arrested for shoplifting and later committed suicide in custody. Ng fled to Canada but was extradited to the United States in 1991 and sentenced to death in California in 1999. Their case remains one of the most infamous in American criminal history.
