The Bard Himself Would Be Proud

First, I take my stars seriously, and I don’t give five stars on the reg. The Shakespeare@ Home’s podcast has more than earned my five-star rating. I’ve listened to every production thus far––RICHARD II (it’s so awesome to actually have a wonderful audio rendition of this play; last time I heard a decent one, it was over 25 years ago and on tape!); THE TEMPEST captured the magic and lore of the play brilliantly; and I can’t say enough about Shakespeare@‘s most recent production, JULIUS CAESAR; Marc Antony’s speech alone is worth its weight in gold. I for one am looking very forward to the next production from this amazing and local (at least to me) troupe of talented theatre folk.

So glad this is out there

I love this podcast, it makes for the most entertaining of walks when I listen to it. They really force me to stretch my mind and attempt to understand what the actors are saying in their old English way of speaking, which is simultaneously difficult and satisfying. Keep up the good work!
