The Bard Himself Would Be Proud
First, I take my stars seriously, and I don’t give five stars on the reg. The Shakespeare@ Home’s podcast has more than earned my five-star rating. I’ve listened to every production thus far––RICHARD II (it’s so awesome to actually have a wonderful audio rendition of this play; last time I heard a decent one, it was over 25 years ago and on tape!); THE TEMPEST captured the magic and lore of the play brilliantly; and I can’t say enough about Shakespeare@‘s most recent production, JULIUS CAESAR; Marc Antony’s speech alone is worth its weight in gold. I for one am looking very forward to the next production from this amazing and local (at least to me) troupe of talented theatre folk.
