“On todays (22 December 2022) ep, Michelle did the intro. I was so pleased to hear her introduce her and Zara as “writers” without the very fake Melbourne private school accent Zara uses when she pronounces “writers” - think Ja’mie from Summer Heights High but without a hint of irony. But…Zara said something lame about “riders” - criticising Michelle’s pronunciation of “writers”. Firstly, Zara, to criticise Michelle publicly is so rude. If you did that to me as a colleague letalone a friend, I’d let you know how inappropriate and rude that is. Secondly, perhaps listen to your own pronunciation- it is cringeworthy. So affected. Note that I wouldn’t have pointed this out but your rudeness - particularly in the face of your own affected private school girl pronunciation- gives me a pass to do so this time. Please don’t “correct” anyone’s pronunciation again.”
