“This wouldn't be a half-bad podcast; Stef is a good host, and Christina is a good commentary. Those two have good rapport and on-air chemistry. But listening to the uninformed, Neanderthal opinions of Phil is so aggravating that I can barely listen without wanting to hurl my phone across the room. The guy adds absolutely nothing to the podcast other than stereotypical "dumb guy" schtick, and it's so clear that he doesn't do even a modicum of research or preparation before gracing the podcast audience with his presence.
Need an example of one of Phil's pearls of wisdom? "People under 30 don't have opinions". Then, when Stef and Christina follow-up by rightly calling him out on his staggering ignorance, he naturally talks over them like the blowhard he is and responds with a snarky "Go hire 15-year-olds". Arrogant, clueless, and obnoxious is no way to go through life, son.
If the podcast would rid itself of the dead weight of Phil, it would be a 5-star after show wrap-up.”
