“I started this podcast less than a week ago after deciding to start my own business. I am a social worker and not at all someone with any background information in business. This podcast has been incredibly helpful in just a few days that I’ve been listening! I have listened to 11 episodes in just a handful of days and just getting started! (See what I did there?! Hehe)
In all seriousness, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit since being a young girl… but being an empath, I always thought that I had to go into a field that was service oriented and caring for others. I became a mental health counselor because of this.
What I am learning is that just because I am selling a product doesn’t mean I’m “a sleazy sales person” and doesn’t mean that I don’t care or that I am not empathetic! I can still care for others through providing them with a service that is not counseling.
This podcast has been very helpful in me teasing apart all kinds of details about who I am, how I want my business to be represented based on my values, and how to make that happen in real time! I’ve never been more motivated OR more informed!
