“I’ve lived near the water my whole life, it’s always been my place to escape, I can spend a day here and just listen, smell, watch the water. It’s so astonishingly beautiful that we hardly know anything about the water- the deep deep waters that is and what they really contain, species, past future so much hidden in something so close and we still flock today.
I know this podcast was fictional but it’s made me think more about bodies of water and the peace it can bring within- an understanding which the doctor felt at the water.
I wonder if the people who put the device in his head were good people, or are they like the people in charge of killing detainees and having him keep them alive longer and filing false death reports.
Could be I mean they killed people to prove a point... then again aren’t wars similar? Especially the one he was in? Iraq Afghanistan... the doctor said he was very good at taking orders and by taking orders again this experience kicked him in the brain and said wake up! Or maybe it made him worse seeing as while in the psychiatric care unit he still spoke to the voice and seemed to lean on it now.
So interesting!! Also loved Limetown!
Thank you all!!!! 💕🥸”
