Very snarky, boring and really doesn’t say anything of importance - just follows what is currently popular but doesn’t stand for anything.

Not sure if this podcast is coming back but it’s a bit niche for me. I am a devoted Lainey follower since 2006 but just don’t care about many of the topics. The vibe is also a bit off in that Duana is too serious & cerebral for my taste (at least for what I enjoy in a podcast).

Can’t believe you’re on a break during the height of Bennifer! Emergency episode needed! Haha!

Look forward to this podcast. Love the banter and insight. Love you guys!

Love this podcast so much and am only slightly sad you haven’t talked about the work behind the rollout of Bennifer 2.0 yet. Also, I loved your super long episodes! Bring them back!

I’ve tried to keep listening to this podcast as the topics and content is SO interesting but I never make it through due to Duana, her condescension and ability to give and take the way Lainey does. It’s great that in their friendship group Duana is loved for her contrarian-ness and that it’s a...Read full review »

Lainey is great, love her blog and perspective. Duana tries way too hard to be a contrarian know it all and reminds me of the friend who is constantly correcting your grammar. Wish I could get through it because Lainey offers an interesting perspective but can’t deal with Duana, tho I do like her...Read full review »

Just finished the Oprah/Harry/Megan breakdown. If Oprah gave us the best television event of the year then Lainey and Duana have given us the best podcast episode of the year. Just so good! Congratulations. This was a triumph.

I regularly read Lainey’s gossip blog, and was impressed with her astute insights into the celebrity industry thanks in part to her sociology background. I also enjoyed the way she talked and her unique insight into the royal family on Omid Scobie’s podcast, which made me want to check out Show...Read full review »

I love Lainey Gossip the website, and really wanted to enjoy this podcast, but my god this show needs to be edited down. Each episode is far too long and ultimately, this feels indulgent

I've tried to listen to this podcast many times because I regularly read Lainey's blog and really enjoy the What's Your Drama podcast. But I just can't get through a whole episode of it. The conversations aren't well-shaped and like many others here, I find Duana really...Read full review »

There are entire podcasts and blogs devoted to the "Dollyverse" but you ladies offered some new insight and I would like more please. It's refreshing and insightful to hear people talk about her legacy plans because she is the only one that dare touch it, no fans want to think of a...Read full review »

Enjoyed the chemistry and points provided. Massive BTS fan myself and appreciate (and applaud) Lainey’s enthusiasm and insights. Along with the undeniable glory a Grammy carries, I also believe such an international trophy might be seen to be on the same level as an Olympic medal, something that...Read full review »

If you love pop culture and want a deeper dive, this is your podcast. Any longtime Lainey readers know her work is thoughtful, intelligent, and delightful. This is no different!

I work in theatre and as we know there is a problem with minority representation in this art form (as in many others). Hamilton is an incredible example of art produced by people who otherwise would be underrepresented, and I cant believe you would be so pretentious to discourage Hamilton...Read full review »

I wanted to like this, but episodes go on far too long. If I’m listening to a pop culture podcast longer than an hour, it has to be way more entertaining.

It felt really gross to listen to the go on and on about Taylor Swift being a Nazi!?!!? The. heck. George Soros is a polarizing personality. I know a lot of people who have issues with his politics that aren’t “invoking neo-nazis”. What you are saying is not brave, It is hateful and false...Read full review »

Too many pauses and some of the conversation seems too stilted. Both hosts seem entirely too satisfied with what they think and what their opinions are. Smug is a good word for them.

Lainey and Diana talk about pop culture in a way that applies to all of us. It’s like listening to two friends!

I love this podcast so much I don’t care that it’s egregiously long. It’s juicy and a little gossipy, but it’s smart. It’s dinner and dessert. Love!

I’m sorry but I hate his Duana says “sure”. I think Lainey called her out on it as well. Aside from this I actually really like their insight. They are pretty fair and I’ve learned a lot from listening to both of them

This is a substantial podcast, informative and visceral. The podcasts not only gives us insights to hard work behind the scenes, but also shines light on societal issues through a unique lense.

I work in the industry myself and enjoy their insights. However, both of them use 3-5x the amount of words needed to explain themselves. I’ve been listening for two years now, and as time’s gone by it’s one of the few I’ve reliably stuck with. I realize this is petty but I cannot get past the way the hosts say the word “because.” It’s like “bUh- cuz”- and it’s constant. Rarely make it to the end of an episode BECAUSE of this.

I love Lainey Gossip; I read it for its smart takes and tone. Duana and Lainey’s “inside baseball” of Hollywood, gossip, and entertainment is a must listen for pop culture junkies. Self-importance has two names and they are Duana and Lainey. The smug judgy pseudo-intellectual woke snobbery of these two hosts brings any momentum to a grinding halt. It’s like they decided one day “let’s give the world the gift of us”....no thank you. Stick with your website.
