“I enjoy the show for the most part, once it gets going. I actually like the earlier episodes more as they get to the heart of the matter quicker. I listen for your take on how the entertainment industry relates to the working world of the rest of us, but I’m finding the first 15 minutes are unrelated to that. I’m not interested in the preamble as it comes off as self indulgent. In addition, as writers, I’m surprised you don’t edit yourselves more. A good 20-30 minutes could be cut from each episode just by eliminating tangents and repeated statements. I’d love it if you returned to the old format as I really learned a lot more from those early episodes.”
