“Thanks for releasing this podcast again. Essential to spread far and wide as the subject matter whilst, heartbreaking and shocking and the open sharing of the family in this format is just so relatable for far too many, me included. We need to talk about these “taboo” subjects that effect so many and hopefully start the process of a law reform that supports victims of trauma and does not subject them to more and more. With perpetrators prosecuted with minimal further exploitation of the vulnerable victims that are brave enough to face the onslaught of their character, even children?!! I could not report the sexual abuse (multiple) I have experienced as for me the fear was too great, humiliation strong and I was so vulnerable, I understood that then and now, but that is simply not ok. Not good enough. The vulnerable in the community, need a voice and the strength of community behind them. And constant reminding that a child can never give consent. Thank you, healing process continues and I hope this reaching many and gives them strength and support as it has done for me. Brilliant. Warmest, Kyla”
