“Simply Nailogical/Cristine/Holo Taco have become more and more of an echo chamber as the years have passed. This podcast is part of it. It’s two people who generally share similar views having a conversation and agreeing with each other. There are very rarely outside voices and definitely no disagreements. It has become a place for super fans while exiling those who express more critical or differing opinions without a thick layer of compliments and sugar coating first. The slightest bit of criticism towards Cristine and/or Ben is met with extreme defensiveness. This has permeated into all social platforms and created a culture of toxic positivity. Unfortunately it’s gotten to the point where I can’t enjoy any of the simply communities anymore.”
