Today's highlighted scripture tells us in short that we are the company we keep and therefore we should choose our friendships wisely. Friends are the family we get to choose ourselves, and God trusts us with that freedom to choose. Choose wisely. Mentioned scripture: Proverbs 18:v24

"Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy..." -Matthew 5:7. Whilst the human nature of being selfish might want to triumph over your ability to forgive, we need to remember God's mercy. Forgiving talks louder than vengeance- in the letting go of the control, you're making way for hope and peace. Let's practise to be merciful, not only torwards others but most importantly, to ourselves.
