What Really Makes Us “Ready” To Resume Sexual Activity Postpartum with with Dr. Rachel Ollivier

What Really Makes Us “Ready” To Resume Sexual Activity Postpartum with with Dr. Rachel Ollivier

Today's episode we have Dr. Rachel Ollivier - She is a maternal and women's health researcher and nurse practitioner and clinical scientist at BC Women's hospital.

We talk about sexual health after birth and questioning the 6-week checkmark until you really are ready.  Dr. Ollivier was inspired to do her research because, she says, “We didn’t have a lot of research on sexual health after birth that specifically looked at sexual health in the context of a more holistic approach.”

Such a helpful, easy-to-digest resource!

Every episode is so straight to the point, with good humor and lots of encouragement for parents. It’s been very helpful on my journey with a newborn, and I also listen to the episodes about older kiddos so I know what’s to come!

Thankful!

The information I have gleaned from these podcasts has been so incredibly helpful in creating a routine and sleep training my triplets. Erin even messaged me back on Instagram to answer one of my questions. Very very thankful for all of the insight!
