“The premise alone is so hopeful: three strangers (plus the host) get into a hotel room and try to understand each other. This is the kind of sweetly contrived thing that should be happening everywhere, all the time, until we all see each other clearly. It gets goofy, it gets real, it gets deep. (I even wish it would go a little longer and get a little deeper—so many great stories!) You’ll feel better about humanity, you’ll want to live in Canada (if you don’t already), and you’ll do a little dance in honor of Sook-Yin Lee.”
