“The narrator’s canned drone can be a little tiresome, but probably the worst thing about this podcast series is that the sound levels are very unpredictable. Sometimes, it’s like they actually paid attention and got the program’s audio to be nice and loud, about as loud as the ads. And then other times, someone was asleep at the mixing board or whatever and the program audio is so low that it has to be turned all the way up and it’s STILL low, and then the commercials come on and blow your eardrums out. So that’s awesome.”

“I got 4 minutes into the first episode before I had to stop. The narrator speaks like a highly satirized William Shatner / ST TOS, with that question inflection at the end of the sentence. Except she’s not making a joke. Highly irritating.”
