Description
In this episode, Catherine interviews Ilana Marcucci-Morris, a licensed clinical social worker, about her involvement in a 10-week strike at Kaiser.
The strike resulted in significant gains, including better wages, improved benefits, and expanded mental health programming. Ilana encourages other mental health professionals to join a union and provides resources for organizing.
She also discusses two patient advocacy bills sponsored by NUHW that aim to enforce parity laws and improve access to care.
