True crime with a conscience
I am a big fan of Sword and Scale and find this to be the perfect counterpoint. David and his crew are trying to do some good in the world rather than just gawking. It's about murder but it's also built on the fundamental goodness of people and I find myself getting attached to some of the people he talks to. For an American, it's also kind of an interesting peek into Canadian culture.Read full review »

They have promoted this as Serial-type True Crime investigative reporting, but make no mistake this is another pretentious, CBC snooze-fest. There is NO investigation or reporting in this very boring podcast. There is no case. Four episodes in, and there is no evidence any crime was committed...Read full review »
