The police in this podcast are disgraceful
I am saddened by the lack of sensitivity and graciousness the female police woman showed both the family and David throughout the podcast. As Marnie said, it is the families right to demand information on the violent act against their loved one. It is the polices role to have them feeling heard and involved so they can reclaim the feeling of disempowerment that happened when Kerrie was brutally attacked and taken from them. As a clinical counsellor, I would even go so far as to say their behaviour is retraumatizing to these 2 broken souls. Trevor, so glad to hear you and your dad are doing better recently. You both sound like your healing has made some progress. I’m sure Kerrie would want that. Sending you both my deepest condolences and great healing. You’ve aligned with some beautiful indigenous people who understand deep pain, telling your story and connecting with others is key. Well done to the First Nations people who have done more towards the Brown family’s healing than anyone. I’m awed by your decency, gentleness and respectful approach despite the severe discrimination FN continue to experience. 🙏❤️🦅 Carmen

Very well done and interesting. Excellent writing and sensitively and intelligently handled. I’m looking forward to the next episode.
