I came for Craig Reynolds and stayed cause Dan is just about as solid as you can get. Great host, great conversations, stoked for what the future holds for this show and excited to be here going forward!

Just listened to the interview with Grant Morrison and am a huge GM fan. Never heard of the show before this, but will definitely be subbing and hope to hear more esoteric, philosophical, and magick related conversations in the future!

Just fantastic to listen to. Very thoughtful and eloquent conversation with genuinely interesting questions that go much deeper than the surface level and beyond just standard interviewer and interviewee. It's like listening to old friends, one who just happens to be famous, and each tidbit...Read full review »

Finally, interviews that the musicians themselves seem to really delve into and actually sound like themselves — raw, relatable, and even “woo-woo” or “tin hat” at times. More, please.

Daniel is an incredible force for positive thought in this bleak wasteland of a world we’re living in. His way of thinking and stream of consciousness with his guests is something to be admired. A genuine artist that really resonates with myself and a lot of people.

A great podcast to listen to and have a laugh!

I appreciate the interview style and the silence that comes along with genuine conversation. It’s raw and I do enjoy what I’ve heard so far. My only ask to the host is to consider a more diverse guest panel. I’d love to hear more women, etc., share their POV within this industry.

The UNKLE interview is amazing. To hear them-the artist I like- talking, makes my relationship with their work even deeper. Thank you Daniel! 🙏🏻

Dan has an incredible knack for nurturing conversations with each guest. Each episode takes on its own life around the art and process of creating music, incredibly insightful. This isn’t a music journo getting a scoop and this isn’t a music pushing a product. Thanks for putting these out...Read full review »

Big fan of DPC’s radio show, and this is a great compliment. In depth interviews and chat that you don’t get in a four minute radio cut. Eagerly await each episode.

The amazing guests on the show are astonishing. From Chino, Jacob Bannon, Billy Corgan, Ben Weinman, the list goes on. Amazing mixture of underground and “mainstream” guests give a unique perspective on the music industry and artists in a long form version. Really cool podcast.

Good brother, I really like your show. I like that it’s a almost raw interview with artist that you respect or admire for their work and I really like the free flow of the show not just a Q&A and that’s it. So respect and keep doing what you do!!!

Because of his empathy for his subjects, Dan P. Carter's 'Someone Who Isn't Me' podcast works in subtle yet revealing fashion as he prompts his interviewees into slowly revealing their most innermost thoughts on the creative & everything else in-between.Read full review »

All the episodes I’ve listened to are really interesting and they give you an insight on certain topics that the guests wouldn’t normally talk about in your average interview. Natural.

A beautiful podcast for anyone. The conversations Dan has with his guests are mind blowing and opened my mind up to concepts and theories I wasn’t aware of. Personal highlight for me was Sam Carter’s episode, as it opened my mind up to Veganism, which since I have actively perused. <3

I think as human beings, it’s only natural to have an opinion about bands, musicians and even people.
