I guess we’re never truly alone
I’ve listened to Simon and Mark’s show from the dawn of time, even before podcasts were a thing!, and throughly enjoyed the ‘wittertainment’ with enjoyable, entertaining and educational shows over many, many years. About 6 months or so ago I thought the time had come to unsubscribe and drop my weekly movie reviews and move on, but habits are very hard to break and I kept listening as the shows automatically downloaded. I totally appreciate I’m one individual that will make little or no difference to Simon or Mark’s lives, income or their once-great podcast/programme. But, reading these recent reviews I see I’m not alone in my disappointment and sadness in witnessing this decline of this once ‘must listen’ show. I will listen one last time to the show that downloaded yesterday and shed a small tear for those nostalgic shows of the past… but the time has come to move on and find a new podcast that’s more fun and entertaining for my weekly movie news. If by any miracle this review ever makes it to the eyes of Simon & Mark - thank you for all those hours and hours of great podcasts. It was, in its heyday, a fabulous ‘wittertainment’. One final hello and goodbye to Jason Isaac’s and … tinkity, tonk, old fruit!!!
