“Long term listener and was hopeful the move to a new format would redress the recent slide into onanistic chat and sycophantic correspondence. Kermode and Mayo (on the) take seems more concerned about promoting the content you can pay extra for, than actually delivering anything close to a film review podcast. In fact the film reviews seem to be a burden for them both. They seem more content pretending they know what a VPN is than engaging in interesting discussions about the latest releases. Now begging for 5 star reviews, absolutely craven behaviour. Deliver a 5 star show and then we can talk.”
