Wow
I’ve listened to every episode of this podcast (some more than once) and though I love it and have rated it 5 stars before, I’ve never felt compelled to write a review until today. I happened to scroll down and read some of the most recent reviews, and I am disgusted to see these women being shamed, or called stupid, or outright blamed for “putting themselves in that situation” or “making stupid decisions” (one review even said “I’m not victim blaming”, and then proceeded to say these victims have no one to blame but themselves?). If you are someone who thinks thoughts like this, and continues to think them after hearing one or two of these stories, keep moving, this podcast isn’t for you. This podcast is for emotionally intelligent, empathetic, growth-mindset grown-ups, and other open-minded humans who aspire to have those qualities, and we are happily leaving you in the dust where you can keep getting dustier. Tiffany (I hope I’m spelling your name right because I’m in the middle of typing this and too afraid to minimize and lose everything), KEEP DOING WHAT YOU’RE DOING. Keep putting abusive predators on blast. Keep giving these humans a platform when they otherwise wouldn’t have one. Keep building a community of strong humans who are compelled to tell their story because they have always known that somebody somewhere needs to hear it. Keep spreading your light and your love and your strength and your message. The right people are hearing it.

This is a story about a sheltered girl with an unhealthy family dynamic who falls for some very...Read full review »

I can’t get enough. This story is so complex and layered and the “characters” are all so different and interesting. This story is unique yet similar to so many other stories of abuse. Brava.
