“Shannon and Scott have great rapport and you get to feel like you’re behind the scenes with them as they crank out a new song each episode. The songs usually trend silly but learning about their process and hearing the jokes and music be created by two people who know what they’re doing is great fun. I particularly enjoy their ability to break down their thought processes (why I’m writing this lyric, why this bass is more appropriate for this genre than another) while not making it feel like you’re sitting through a music theory or poetry class. They’ve found a wonderful way to blend education, humor, and music. Highly recommend this new podcast!”
