Gripping episode about the death of a boy and the how it is a microcosm of targeted world violence. Can’t wait for the next one!

Started listening to this podcast a couple years ago. The presentation and narrators are wonderful. No matter the topic, the stories told in each episode are deeply affecting, inspiring, and real, while also being artfully told.

I discovered this podcast two months ago and have listened to all the episodes going back to 2015, many of them two or three times. Great podcast. Informative, funny, heart-wrenching and challenging stories. Really looking forward to the next season.

Thank you for educating me on Dulcie September- her life and her death. I do not think we were ever taught about this - I was 9 at the time of her death and my child never will learn this part of history in school without us raising it to the forefront. I am subscribing.

Informative, horrific, painful. Another story of Apartheid terror, and economics over ethics. But also highlighting one of our unsung heroes. Thanks for the experience and sparking my interest. Very keen to read Evelyn Groenink’s book Incorruptible.

This is a really great English language documentary style podcast from South Africa. It would be fair to compare it to This American Life with a very different perspective.

This is a great podcast that tells original stories from the African continent - the first (that I know of) to do so! Interesting stories, compellingly told. What more could you want?
