“Adam has the perfect voice to put me to sleep. Although I don’t think anything could have helped me sleep today.
But… I did not realize the subject of his stories was horror. It is a subject that I try to avoid at all costs. I didn’t look at the stories and I really don’t know anything about The Monkey’s Paw. So about halfway through the story I began to get alarmed. I am now wide awake in bed and I cannot listen to any more of Adam.
Adam, please consider doing some podcasts for sleep that are not horror but that are very pleasant.
I have extreme issues with horror that I cannot go into. This is the opposite of what I needed to sleep.
I will still give the podcast five stars because it was presented beautifully and Adam has a great voice for this. But I hope that he will do other types of stories and clearly mark what they are or at least talk about them in the beginning of each podcast so that people who are not aware will not be caught in the middle of a story in the dark listening to a horror story unawares.”
