This is the best podcast on this platform. However, the background music has become too loud to the point that it’s hard to concentrate on the spoken word. Please fix it, Nora. A long time subscriber.

I’m always learning new things - and leave with a book recommendation or two. Nora Young is one of the best interviewers. Just a great show.

You will never ever hear anything favorable to the right on this show. Nothing on for example the cost of things to government (meaning us) the downside of single parent families, crime rate of POCs, etc. that said, what’s presented is interesting. A couple examples. Bias in machine learning...Read full review »

Spark is CBC at it’s best, and it used to be more like this. Cracking and insightful, entertaining and well paced. Nora is one of our broadcasting treasures.

I am used to Spark being a wonderful and engaging listen, but the first episode of this long-form look at the effects of integrated circuits was a joy from moment to moment.

However highly Nora Young is rated as a journalist, she’s under-rated. Smart, smooth, funny, way ahead of the pack in her exploration of social issues—what a set of gifts! And, time after time, the areas of investigation MATTER! Thanks so much, Nora! (But...I do feel nostalgic about DNTO!)

Like the podcast, host Nora Young is outstanding, incomparable, unbeatable, superb. This is a vastly interesting and informative state-of-the-art programme. Nora rocks! With love, A Weekly Fan, since 2009.

Always enjoy this show. But I didn’t realize how essential and overdue such an episode was until I started listening to this one. The ‘out of the box’ thinking that went into it takes the series to a new level.

Hello there, this is not related to the content or the quality of this podcast, but for the CBC. I already pay for the CBC via my taxes, please remove the ads from my feeds! If you want to target customers outside of Canada, that is fine. But please not me. Many thanks in advance!

CBC receives 2 billion plus from taxpayers, also makes its own money on top. 25 plus podcasts, with 1-2 or even 3 paid actors. These “free” podcasts have cost Canadians over 60 dollars for each man woman and child per year, or over 300 per avg family. Then gives this “free” (CDN taxpayer paid)...Read full review »

This is one of the best tech podcasts. Nora Young is very engaging and you can hear that she’s interested in the topics and the guests. I also enjoy the wide range of topics, and especially the human side of the technology.

I love this podcast. I'm sick of tech podcasts that only talk about Apple, AI, or the newest phone. This is planet money for the future, with more resolutions but plenty to think about.Read full review »
