“This podcast abjectly disregards the existence and contributions of women in sports and sports media. The show notes of almost every episode could very easily be “man talks to man about men who play/cover sports.” It is as retrograde and narrow-minded a conception of a sports media podcast as it gets. Anyone who purports to seriously and honestly cover sports media should know that there are ample stories about women worth covering and no shortage of smart and capable women in sports media who would be terrific guests on a podcast like this. Until this podcast is willing to be more thoughtful about accounting for the fact that sports and sports media are so much richer and more compelling than men’s sports media, I’ve unsubscribed.”
