Gone to the Dark Guard side
I started listening to this podcast based on a friend's recommendation. He told me it was the best way to learn about TTRPGs and that I'd enjoy it. Wow, he couldn't have been more wrong. I freaking LOVE it! Now my teen and I are on our second listen through and complete fans of these three adventurers. We love Billie's love of food and play, Tuck's stalwart heart (and appetites), and Vyng's sense of justice. Shawn has to be the most patient and collaborative DM/GM alive to go with every inappropriate thing Abdul suggests. The whole podcast is a wild ride of fun, love, deep feels, and side-quests. I've cried while listening and driving across the barren desert of Idaho. I'm so glad I have good friends with flawless taste who can give the gift of happiness in the form of four strangers in Canada who make a TTRPG better than a fantasy novel or film. Give this one a listen. Oh, and throw some coins at their Patreon too so they keep making episodes. The day these heroes' story ends is the last day my nearly frozen heart sees the sun.Read full review »

More reviews of Spout Lore
This is some good stuff. Of all the actual plays out there this one feels like an honest, seat of your pants house game. It’s funny, is consistently derailed by entertaining nonsense, and it’s clear these guys (and gal) are having fun.
