Grant Fritchey is a Microsoft SQL Server MVP with over 20 years of experience in IT, including time spent in support and development. He has worked with SQL Server since 6.0, back in 1995. He has developed in Visual Basic, Visual Basic .NET, C# and Java. He is the author of the books SQL Server Execution Plans (Simple-Talk), SQL Server Query Performance Tuning (Apress) and co-Author “Expert Performance Indexing”, “SQL Server MVP Deep Dives 2”, “Beginning SQL Server 2012 Administration” and “Pro SQL Server 2012 Practices”. Since 2009 he has been awarded as a Microsoft SQL Server MVP. In 2014 I was awarded as a Dunn & Bradstreet MVP. In 2011 I received the Tech10 Award in Rhode Island and joined Red Gate Software as a Product Evangelist in January.
