I feel as if I’ve grown so much in my faith from listening to the wonderful speakers from the Saint Paul center who share their knowledge and faith with all of us. But I also learned biblical history and culture, things I never knew that make the Scriptures come alive and make more sense. So I...Read full review »

I have been looking for this for years! Much appreciated. Just one possible improvement that would increase the impact of this podcast. Can this be daily posted early in the morning or the night before? I know that especially priests would benefit by listening to this before their homily at...Read full review »

These reviews/explanations of the daily readings are OUTSTANDING. I particularly appreciate Dr John Bergsma. Special thanks to Dr Hahn and his St Paul Center.

So much to rave about. The knowledge of the presenters is amazing and I learn so much every day. The breakdown of the scriptures with references to the Greek and Hebrew roots is wonderful. My one critique would relate to when the episodes are released for listening, especially the Tuesday...Read full review »

Saint Jerome insisted that ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ. As someone who attended the Episcopal Church as a child and then converted to Catholicism in the 70s as a 21 year old, St. Jerome’s words were an accurate description of me. Several years ago I began reading scripture...Read full review »

The main thing I would share about this podcast is that it is one of the deeper looks at the daily Mass readings. I have listened to other insights on the daily readings but none have been this deep in theology and the Catholic faith.

It is wonderful to hear from the reflections of the preachers from St. Paul’s Center and it helps me to take each day’s reflection deeper to encounter the Lord.

I love Letter’s from Home, so much so that I wonder if there is something wrong with my App. At first it was as daily that I got content. But every now and then it is missing. I got no contents for today, Tuesday November 30, Feast of Saint Andrew. I had no content last Thursday, or last...Read full review »

Not the same quality as other St Paul Center productions. Knowledgeable people who approach Scripture with reverence and insight. But the poor delivery, except SH, distracts from the message - esp the prof who sounds like he’s just running through lecture notes. Not enough room for a detailed...Read full review »

It’s so nice to have a podcast that helps you dive into the daily readings or deeply in office reflections to pray about. One piece of, I hope, constructive criticism is that the intros are just too long for a daily podcast like this.

Everyday I get to hear a biblical scholar comment on the daily scriptures. I’m always left with something to ponder and it stays with me the whole day. Thank you.

Given the exigencies of daily Mass for busy people our priests generally limit their homilies to five minutes. These reflections expand the appreciation of the Mass readings for those of us who are less busy and prepared to receive more. Thanks to the St Paul Center for this apostolate.

Letters From Home podcast is wonderfully done. It is like having a mini bible study right after you read the daily scripture readings. The presenters are scholarly but absolutely personally relatable. Thank you St Paul Center.
