Seems like Alex just wants to make money. Hence gimlet has become the infomercial podcast network. They’re rich, and their only decent podcast self destructed. The rest is “sponsored content “ ( Read infomercial ). So good for you Bloomberg, your a multimillionaire. Here’s a pitch, staff brings in their soiled underwear. Hook up with a large detergent company for a show. Then post before and after pictures of said garments.
Perfect show for this companies current state. Meanwhile, Ira Glass is still turning out great INDEPENDENT radio. Gimlet, not so much.
There’s a lesson here somewhere”
