“If you like this sort of thing... then this is the sort of thing you will like. I listened to three podcasts (Agent spill the Beans, Getting Booked to Speak....and one other) and found them to be nothing sandwiches. NO USEFULL INFORMATION. A lot of bald self-help paltatudes . The Grant Baldwin interview seemed to be about plugging an upcoming event..."So that's something you don't want to miss!" A lot of empty blather. Port and Baldwin are not bad guys--in fact they seem like really decent guys. But public speaking is about personality and no self help podcast can give you that. The totality of it seems like a Business/self-help version of Televangelists who preach "prosparity Christianity." On the otherhand...the podcast is free and you get what you pay for. (But I was not inspired to buy a book or attend a seminar ) I will listen to a few more and if I change my mind I will retract this and write another review. (Stay tuned.)”Read full review »
