Needs work
Kudos for getting interviews with some amazing authors who have written amazing books and pique the interest. However, the production quality needs improvement and Cheryl needs to develop further as an interviewer. Nothing irks me more than an interviewer who speaks over the interviewee. This is particularly galling when the person being interviewed is quite forthcoming in giving wonderful information only for them to be interrupted by Cheryl asking a question where it is plain to hear that the interviewee has already pre-empted it in the response they were giving before they were interrupted. Additionally, it felt like there was distinct personality clash with Richard Flanagan that impacted negatively on the quality of the podcast. It sounded like the interviewer failed to prepare properly to ensure they got the best out of the interview.
