Uneventful. Weird. Deceiving. Just alright.
This is not a murder mystery at all. The intro was really deceiving. I would say it is much more similar to This American Life than Serial or Up and Vanished. It is a story following a man named John and his struggle to make a difference in a town that is so small yet has big problems that seem irreparable. These issues cause John a lot of depression and the story is a psychoanalysis of the people within this town, focusing mostly on how John copes with the thought of his whole life being spent there. I've only gotten through 2 episodes. It's not horrible, and I think for one episode of This American Life it would be a decent listen, I just can't see it holding my interest for a whole series.Read full review »
