Torn
I am totally torn on this podcast. It is beautifully told, Brian Reed does a great job unfolding this story. And the main subject, John , is fascinating and quite an interesting eccentric. BUT this podcast takes details from one man’a private life and broadcasts it to the world, and it is very unclear whether or not John authorized this storytelling before his death. It feels as if the podcast is exploiting a possibly mental ill man’s life.
