Grown-up Goonies in Hillbilly Hell.... in a good way
This little gem is everything you could ever want from a podcast. Brian is a skilled, tactful and cheeky host and producer. His careful approach and honest rapport with the people he encounters in ShitTown should be used as a "how to deal with people in everyday life" handbook. I could never have imagined the story that was about to unfold when I started episode 1. It took me all of 5 minutes for John B. to carve his own little permanent spot in my heart. What a fascinating and complex man.... As a child of the 80's I grew up watching the greatest adventure movies of all time. As an adult, this story, to me, played out like a fascinating, real life grown-up Goonies in hillbilly hell. I've never listened to a podcast more than one time in its entirety, but that is exactly what I'm about to do with ShitTown. ❤️Read full review »
