Some stories are great, enjoyably bizarre, intimate…
But ‘The Truth’ was a really grotesque story and I feel like the host completely missed the mark and made an episode that is almost dangerous. For goodness sake the man molested two little girls. And the podcast is largely syrupy, mournful sympathy about how the woman misses him so much and wishes he was here, etc. Hello? He was a freaking adult who sexually abused her daughters!!! What about a little more emphasis on that? This is not a love story!
