Overcoming the Odds: Mission is to Empower and Employ those in the Parole and Probation community.
Description
Two-time Emmy and Three-time NAACP Image Award-winning, television Executive Producer Rushion McDonald, interviewed Dewayne Johnson. Dewayne created The Silverling Project. The Silverlining Project vision was birthed in 2020 and implemented in 2024 as a nonprofit organization. Its mission is to Empower, Employ, and Include those from the IRPP, Incarcerated Reentry, Parole and Probation community. Our program is set to provide resources such as clothing and toiletries, mental health and wellness services, transportation assistance, housing, career training, job placement, and financial literacy, all making for a successful reentry and positive outcome. We do these through partnerships and collaborations with other professional entities and corporations. Volunteers are always welcome; donations are needed to assist in every area. We believe there is a silver lining in every situation.
