This is an amazing! Well written and said, but also any of you giving it one star because you find the title annoying and offensive have you even listened to it? I think not!

People need to know the truth about ALL heritages. Even if it’s offensive, or violent. Please make a Canadian heritage version, American version, and an Australian version. All great empires have dark pasts. Also, if it would be a bit more short, that would be great.

This episode is just negative vibes and only portrays England as a terrible country. This is a terrible podcast and if I could I would give it negative stars. WORST PODCAST EVER!!! UP WITH THE BRITS!!!!

I downloaded a few episodes prior to an international flight and was hooked on the depth and complexity of the research that the host and producers had undertaken for each episode - a great series of experts in each episode too! A must listen for knowledge!

As someone from England, I have always felt like we never learn enough about our history and our global impact particularly with individual countries. This podcast has really bought to life what we did in the past and how that is effecting people to this day. Thank you for getting these stories...Read full review »

I find it amusing that some have been so offended by the title of the podcast! They’re either ignorant of history in general or they simply didn’t even listen to the podcast. Well produced deep-dives into some uncomfortable truths! Hope the podcast keeps going!

This is such a good podcast. It’s entertaining even though it covers terrible injustices and atrocities. It sheds light on the terrors of colonialism and the resilience of post-colonial peoples. And it’s just great little know history, or at least overlooked perspectives on history. It’s a must...Read full review »

Unpopular opinion but most of these things wouldn’t even exist if they were taken and preserved. Poms ARE wankers though.

I recommend this podcast whenever someone asks me what my favorite one is. Though I am already pretty well-versed in history, I learned so much from each episode of this podcast. This is my new favourite podcast. I discovered it a week ago and binge-listened to all three seasons in a matter of days. All the while I was thinking, this would make incredible television!!! Glad to hear it actually is a show already and I can get my next fix with visuals. Well done Mark and co.

The bad reviews of this podcast only reveal just how needed it is. A beautiful exposure of the harm the English perpetrated and perpetuate today. Refreshing, well done, and delightfully factual.

An eye catching but very offensive title and this podcast supposedly associated with apparent higher quality media companies? A similar title could have been ‘The lovely baby seals that Canada clubbed to death very recently’ Awful

Excellent show exposing the Brits for what they are… a bunch of thieves who built their wealth by looting and stealing from others.
