“I am a frustrated sailor, although I sailed on yachts which isn't quite the same. I always fancied going to sea for a career, but on the sea not in it. These podcasts, had they been available when I was leaving school would have attracted me to the submariner career. The advice that Bill got when he was deciding what path to take saying that since he would be under the waterline on a surface ship anyway that he should opt for the extra pay of a submariner made so much sense.
