Wow! Real submarining from real submariners
Four episodes in and I'm completly hooked! Listening to these podcasts sure brings back a flood of memories of my time on submarines. I highly recommend it to my fellow submariners, active and veteran. I also highly recommend it to anybody considering joining the submarine force (and your families) to get a true and 100% accurate sense of what it's like from a broad sample of people that have actually been there - done that. Granted, the Cold War is over (essentially) but I think the stories are very much relative to the submarining world of today. And Bill, thank you so much for doing these and for turning me onto to them. You're doing a phenomenal job! - USS STONEWALL JACKSON (SSBN634)(GOLD) - 1982 - 1985Read full review »

As a retired "skimmer" MCPO, I have found Bill's podcast a joy. Relatable even for those of us who were on the "other side of the waterline." Thanks, Bill for taking the time to make a thouroughly enjoyable, interesting podcast.Read full review »

A lifetime worth of experience captured with humor and truth. My finest memories come to life of my days as a boomer nuke on the Ethan Allen SSBN 608. Keep the stories coming.
