Biased and weak
In both series the journalists are biased and present no real journalism to the listener. Instead, they seem to have decided on the stories they’d like to tell in advance. They might like to remember, particularly in series 1, that absence of proof of guilt is not proof of absence of guilt. The style of the podcast is derivative and apes the first series of Serial many years after that was fresh. Worse, the victims and their families are afterthoughts. Don’t get me started on the number of adverts.
